<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-size: 14pt;font-family:">The history room underwent some restoration in 2003 to make sure the room was as close as possible to museum standards. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-size: 14pt;font-family:">Installed in the room was a new ceiling and air vent, new carpet, walls painted a parchment colour, oil filled heater with a timer and thermostat and a hygrometer to record the temperature and humidity. Paper and photographs need to be kept at a constant temperature between 18 &#8211; 22 degrees and the humidity between 47 and 52 %.<br />

<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><span style="font-size: 14pt;font-family:"><span style="color: #000000">A history group was formed in  March 2004, incorporated and  named the Levendale and Woodsdale History Rooms Inc.</span></span></p>

<p style="text-align: center" align="center"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;font-family:"><span style="color: #000000">In April 2004 the local historical group applied for a Small Museums and Collections grant through Arts Tasmania to help pay the cost of collating all historical information in the Levendale and Woodsdale areas and its placement on the State Library&#8217;s eHeritage web site.</span></span> <br />
